UM, THERE WAS 5 MILLION TOTAL AWARDED A WENT TO 107 AWARDEES.

WE HAD THE BIGGEST AWARD IN TEXAS.

UM, AND IT WAS ALSO LARGER THAN THE MEDIAN AND AVERAGE AWARD SIZE.

WE DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB WITH OUR 55 MILLION IN ALLOCATION.

SO GOOD JOB TEAM.

UM, WE EXECUTED OUR ALLOCATION AGREEMENT WITH THE C D F I FUND IN JANUARY, AND SO WE'RE NOW READY TO MOVE FORWARD WITH TRANSACTIONS.

UM, AND THEN WE OPENED OUR CALL FOR PROJECTS IN DECEMBER.

WE ADVERTISED THE CALL THROUGH PROJECTS THROUGH A COUNCIL MEMBER, COUNCIL MEMO, DIRECT EMAIL, SOCIAL MEDIA FROM O E D.

WE HAD, UH, INFORMATION AND APPLICATION ONLINE ON THE WEBSITE.

UM, AND WE ALSO HELD AN INFORMATION SESSION WITH CHASE BAY.

UM, AND WE HAD 12 RESPONSES, WHICH IS OUR NEW CLIENT .

SO THAT WAS A GOOD OUTCOME FOR US.

UM, AND JUST TO KEEP IN MIND AS WE'RE GOING THROUGH PROJECTS TODAY, THAT FOR US TO BE ABLE TO ELIGIBLE FOR US TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR FUNDING IN THE NEXT ROUND, WE MUST DEPLOY AT LEAST 22 MILLION BY THE SPRING OF 2024.

UM, AND WE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE CLOSED THREE, TARGET THREE TO FOUR TARGET DEALS ON OCTOBER, 2023.

SO WE'RE TRYING TO LOOK AT PROJECTS THAT WE CAN GET OUT PRETTY QUICKLY AND CLOSE THRESHOLDS FOR FUNDING.

UH, WE HAVE TWO TYPES OF PROJECTS AND WITH AN OVERARCHING FOCUS ON SOUTHERN DALLAS, WE HAVE JOB CREATION PROJECTS WITH THE AIM TO CREATE AND RETAIN QUALITY ACCESSIBLE JOBS AND COMMUNITY FACILITY PROJECTS THAT PROVIDE, UH, CO-LOCATION OF NEEDED SOCIAL SERVICES WITH AN EMPHASIS ON TARGETING MULTIPLE GENERATIONS.

UH, OUR ALLOCATION TARGET IS TWO TO THREE PROJECTS UNDER JOB CREATION AND FOUR TO FIVE PROJECTS UNDER COMMUNITY FACILITIES.

I WILL JUST SAY, LISTEN TO THE C D F I FUND.

OVER THE LAST HANDFUL OF YEARS HAVE BEEN A LOT MORE FOCUSED ON REALLY TYING WHAT YOU SAID IN YOUR CONGREGATION TO THE, YOU ACTUALLY DO 10 YEARS AGO DEVELOPMENT REALLY, AND TYING EVERYTHING BACK.

UH, SO WE MADE A MAP OF WHERE ALL THE PROJECTS CAME IN FROM, FROM THE CALLER PROJECTS.

AND YOU CAN SEE THAT WE HIT SOUTHERN DALLAS REALLY WELL, WHICH I THINK BETTER THAN WE EVER MET BEFORE, WHERE WE'RE GETTING ELIGIBLE PROJECTS FROM.

UM, YOU KNOW, WE, WE'VE TENTATIVELY GROUPED THEM INTO TIER ONE A, TIER ONE B, AND TIER TWO.

AND THEN THE TIER TWO PROJECTS DON'T REALLY ALIGN WITH THE PROJECT TYPE STRATEGY.

UM, AND SO WITH THAT, I THINK WE WOULD JUST PAUSE HERE AND OPEN IT FOR DISCRETION ON HOW WE HAD, YOU KNOW, GROUPED 'EM, UM, AND SEE IF THERE'S COMMENTS ON THAT, UM, AND WHAT YOUR THOUGHTS ARE FOR THAT.

OF THESE THREE OF THEM ARE COMMUNITY FACILITIES AT PER AS A JOB CREATION PROJECT.

AND ALL OF THEM HAVE INDICATED OUR, WE BELIEVE AFTER DOING A LITTLE BIT OF DUE DILIGENCE, BUT FULL DUE DILIGENCE AND ALL OF 'EM THAT THEY HAVE A HIGH FEASIBILITY OF CLOSING TO HELP US MEET THAT QI DEADLINE.

UM, AND THEN TIER ONE B ARE JUST A LITTLE BIT FURTHER OUT OR A LITTLE BIT OFF THE CORE MISSION OR THERE'S A LITTLE BIT MORE CONCERN ABOUT GETTING THROUGH CLOSING QUICKLY AND, UM, TIER RIGHT NOW WE HAVE NO IDEA THE CAPITAL NEED OR WE HAVE A GENERAL IDEA FOR WHAT A HOMELESS ALLOCATION EACH ONE WOULD BE.

WE DO HAVE SOME IDEAS OF WHAT, UM, THE ALLOCATION WOULD BE FOR BEHIND EVERY DOOR.

WE'RE LOOKING AT 10 MILLION FOR VO SIX PARK SOUTH WOULD BE ABOUT 10, DEPENDING ON IF THERE COULD BE ANOTHER CD MIGHT WE COULD GET IT.

AND THAT'S WHAT PUT THEM IN THE TIER TWO.

I MEAN, IT'S REALLY HARD FOR US TO DO SPEC RETAIL AS A NEW MARKETS PROJECT BECAUSE IT'S REALLY HARD FOR US TO QUANTIFY THE DELIVERABLES.

UM, AND SO THE HEALTHCARE, I MEAN IF IT WERE JUST THE RESTAURANT AND THE RETAIL, IT WOULD BE LIKE NOT EVEN FEASIBLE.

I MEAN, WHAT, WHAT WOULD BE, AND THIS IS A VERY SMALL PROJECT TOO.

YEAH.

UM, BUT WHAT COULD BE SOMETHING THAT WE CAN WORK WITH IS THE HEALTHCARE SIDE OF IT, BUT THEY WOULD NEED TO IDENTIFY A TENANT.

AND THEN WE ALSO, YOU KNOW, BECAUSE THIS ISN'T TRULY A COMMUNITY FACILITIES PROJECT, WE NEED TO MAKE SURE THE JOB QUALITY IS THERE BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT WE PRESENTED TO THE CDFI FUND.

LIKE WE HAVE GOOD QUALITY ACCESSIBLE JOBS.

SO EVEN ALL, EVEN THOUGH ALL OF THESE ARE LIKE SPACES THAT WE'RE HAVE HIRING OF EMPLOY, BRING EMPLOYMENT, IT'S NOT THE,

IT DOESN'T MEET THE STANDARD BASICALLY.

SO BASED UPON THESE, UM, STRATIFICATION, I GUESS NEXT STEP, SO WE LOOK AT, WE START WITH THE TIER ONE A PROJECTS MOVING FORWARD WITH THOSE AND DO WE STILL COMMUNICATE WITH THE OTHER PROJECTS? WHAT, WHAT'S THE, WHAT'S THE THOUGHT PROCESS BEHIND THAT? THAT'S WHAT WE WOULD LIKE TO DO, IS THAT IF EVERYBODY'S COMFORTABLE, I MEAN IF THERE'S ANYTHING OUT THE TIER ONE B YOU THINK WE SHOULD PULL UP, WE'RE HAPPY TO PUSH THOSE TWO.
