THE CITIZEN HOMELESSNESS COMMISSION IS AN ADVISORY BODY.
THE PURPOSE OF THE CHC IS TO ASSURE PARTICIPATION FROM AND INCLUSION OF ALL STAKEHOLDERS, INCLUDING THOSE WITH PAST OR PRESENT EXPERIENCE WITH HOMELESSNESS, TO DEVELOP POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS TO ENSURE ALIGNMENT OF CITY SERVICES WITH REGIONAL SERVICES TO ENHANCE EFFICIENCY, QUALITY, AND EFFECTIVENESS OF THE COMMUNITY-WIDE RESPONSE TO HOMELESSNESS.
THE CHC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE ONE, ADVISE THE CITY MANAGER AND THE DALLAS CITY COUNCIL ON ISSUES AFFECTING HOMELESSNESS.
TWO, ASSIST THE CITY IN EVALUATING NEW AND EXISTING PROGRAMS. THREE.
COORDINATE WITH OTHER LOCAL AND REGIONAL BODIES ADDRESSING HOMELESSNESS.

STUPOT WILL COMMEMORATE 50 YEARS OF IMPACT IN SERVING PEOPLE EXPERIENCING HARDSHIP OR HOMELESSNESS.
AS A MINISTRY OF FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH OF DALLAS, WHICH THE CHURCH STARTED IN 1856, JUST A A, A LITTLE WHILE AFTER THE CITY OF DALLAS WAS INCORPORATED, UM, WE WILL OBSERVE THIS MILESTONE OF 50 YEARS THROUGHOUT 2025, STARTING WITH OUR ANNUAL SOUPS ON LUNCHEON.
THAT'S JUST A WEEK AND A HALF AWAY, UM, HOPING FOR GOOD WEATHER AND
OUR ANNIVERSARY THEME, 50 YEARS OF LOVING OUR NEIGHBORS WILL HIGHLIGHT THE STEWPOT'S LONG TRADITION OF LOVE IN ACTION FROM ITS INCEPTION, THE STEWPOT HAS BEEN A COMMUNITY EFFORT DRIVEN BY PEOPLE WHO BELIEVE IN A SHARED RESPONSIBILITY TO CREATE SOLUTIONS FOR OUR NEIGHBORS LIVING IN POVERTY.
WE WILL CELEBRATE THIS LEGACY OF HOSPITALITY AND HOPE BY CONTINUING TO SERVE THOSE IN NEED.
SINCE WE BEGAN IN 75, WE'VE FED PEOPLE, UM, FROM THE STREETS OF DALLAS, WE'VE SERVED MORE THAN 8.7 MILLION MEALS WITH STRONG SUPPORT FROM DONORS.
WE HAVE PROVIDED COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES AND COMMUNITY OF SUPPORT FOR THOSE IN POVERTY, AS WELL AS HOMELESSNESS, UM, AND PROGRAMS THAT STABILIZE HOUSE AND ENRICH THE LIVES OF DALLAS NEIGHBORS.
THESE INITIATIVES INCLUDE HELPING PEOPLE RECOVER OVER 112,000 VITAL ID DOCUMENTS SINCE 1975 TO ACCESS SERVICES AND EMPLOYMENT FUNDING.
TWO HUNDRED AND THIRTY THREE FOUR YEAR SCHOLARSHIPS FOR COLLEGE OR VOCATIONAL SCHOOL SINCE 1991, AND HELPING PROVIDE HOUSING FOR 320 PEOPLE SINCE ITS RAPID REHOUSING PROGRAM BEGAN IN 2021 AND OVER A THOUSAND MEALS A DAY AT THE BRIDGE HOMELESS RECOVERY CENTER SINCE 2008.
WE ARE, UH, PROUD TO, UM, HAVE BEEN ABLE TO STEP IN WHEN CITY SQUARE HAS BEEN, UH, STRUGGLING.
AND WHILE WE NEVER WANTED CITY SQUARE TO, UH, TO LEAVE OUR COMMUNITY, UM, WE WERE HONORED TO MAKE IT TAKE A MAJOR STEP IN HELPING SECURE AND STABILIZE, PARTICULARLY THE FOOD PANTRY AND THE NEIGHBOR RESOURCE CENTER.
UM, AND SO I'M, I'M GONNA NOW JUST START GOING THROUGH MY, MY, UH, POWERPOINT.
SO AS, AS I SAID, WE STARTED IN 1975, AND THAT'S A PICTURE FROM THE FIRST, UH, FIRST WEEKS OF, UM, OUR SERVING DALLAS MORNING NEWS COMMEMORATED THAT, AND ACTUALLY, WE STARTED GETTING FUNDING RIGHT AWAY, INCLUDING THE DONATION OF A COW.
I DON'T THINK WE, I DON'T THINK WE TOOK THE COW, BUT, UM, THE STEWPOT OFFERS A SAFE HAVEN FOR UNHOUSED AND AT RISK INDIVIDUALS.
WE DO DO HAVE A HUGE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILY PROGRAM FOR HOUSED FAMILIES AND FAMILY STABILIZATION WORK FOR THEM, THE STAFF LEADERSHIP.
UM, SOME OF YOU MAY HAVE MET REVEREND AMOS DESA, OUR SENIOR PASTOR, OUR FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH.
UM, HE IS, HE IS ONE OF MY BOSSES.
UM, I'M THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR.
DANNY BUFORD IS MY DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, AND HE'S BEEN KEY IN THE ACQUISITION OF CITY SQUARE.

UM, JUST GOING TO REALLY HIGHLIGHT QUICKLY OUR STUPAC PROGRAMS, JUST SO YOU KNOW, THE ALIGNMENT OF WHAT WE WERE DOING.
I THINK MOST OF YOU KNOW, OUR PROGRAMMING, BUT JUST IN CASE.
UM, SO WE HAVE, UH, STARTED AS A SOUP KITCHEN.
AND SO, UH, WE'VE CONTINUED ALL THE WAY THROUGH.
UM, AND QUICKLY WE STARTED DOING OTHER KINDS OF SERVICES FOR FOLKS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS.
WE NOW HAVE STREET OUTREACH, THE, UH, STREET TO HOME PROGRAM.
WE HAVE OUR CLIENT SERVICES PROGRAM

THAT HELPS WITH ID SERVICES.WE'VE BEEN DOING THAT SINCE ALMOST THE BEGINNING.
AND WE ARE ONE OF THE LARGEST PROVIDER OF ID SERVICES IN THE HOMELESS.
UM, CONTINUUM REALLY LOOKS TO US TO DO THAT.
THE NRC IS ONE OF THE NEW PROGRAMS, BUT THAT'S GOING TO BE UNDER THE COMPREHENSIVE SUPPORT FOR FAMILIES EXPERIENCING INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES EXPERIENCING POVERTY OR HOMELESSNESS.
WE'VE BEEN DOING HOUSING SINCE, UM, 2021, RAPID REHOUSING AND PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING.
OUR FOOD PANTRY AND MEAL SERVICES.
UH, WE TOOK ON THE FOOD PANTRY.
WE WERE DOING FOOD DISTRIBUTION, ABOUT 300, UM, HOUSEHOLDS EVERY, UH, TWICE A MONTH.
SO NOW WE WILL BE OPERATING THE FOOD PANTRY THAT SERVED OVER 12,000, UM, UH, INDIVIDUALS OVER THE LAST YEAR.
SO WE'RE REALLY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF, UM, FOLK FOLKS WE CAN DO FOOD, UM, FOR.
AND WE HAVE A HUGE FOOD RECOVERY PROGRAM THIS YEAR.
UM, AS 2024 ENDED, WE, UM, RECOVERED ALMOST A MILLION POUNDS OF FOOD.
IT WAS UTILIZED IN THE, THE MEAL SERVICES AT THE BRIDGE, AS WELL AS OUR FOOD DISTRIBUTION PROGRAM.
AND THEN HOPE OUR ARTS AND ENRICHMENT AND OUR CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILY PROGRAM, HOLISTIC PROGRAMS FOR INDIVIDUALS, CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES.
MANY OF YOU KNOW OF OUR, UM, KIND OF NATIONALLY KNOWN ART PROGRAM.
WE HAVE THE STUDIOS AND OUR ARTISTS AND, UM, WE, WE, UH, SERVE, UH, THEM BY, UM, MARKETING THEIR ART THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY.
IN FACT, UH, UH, COMMISSIONER EINSTEIN, UM, HELPED US WITH A, AN EVENT AT, UH, THE TEXAS, UM, WILD CA NO
UM, SO, UH, WE, WE WERE ABLE TO DISPLAY A LOT OF ART AND SELL, UH, ART FOR OUR, OUR ARTISTS.
AND OVER 90, PER, UH, 90% GOES TO THE ARTIST.
THE, THE PAYMENT AND 10% GOES BACK INTO THE PROGRAM.
WITH THE ACQUISITION OF CITY SQUARE, WE WILL CONTINUE TO OFFER ALL OF OUR PROGRAMS. FOOD DISTRIBUTION IS REALLY BECOMING JUST PART OF THE FOOD PANTRY.
SO IT'S NOT GONNA BE A SEPARATE PROGRAM, BUT ALL OF OUR OTHER PROGRAMS AND PARTNERSHIPS ARE CONTINUING.
UM, THE NEXT PAGE, UM, ON ON PAGE SIX JUST SHOWS AGAIN, SOME OF OUR, UM, PROGRAMMING, ENCAMP, ENCAMPMENT DECOMMISSIONING.
WE'VE BEEN DOING THAT EVER SINCE WE STARTED DOING DECOMMISSIONING OF ENCAMPMENTS.
UM, WE'VE BEEN DOING THE ID SERVICES, AND NOW WE HAVE THREE PEOPLE ON OUR STREET OUTREACH TEAM.

UM, AND SO WE WERE OUTGROWING, UH, THE STUPOT BUILDING THAT'S RIGHT DOWN THE STREET FROM, FROM HERE.
BUT THAT ACTUALLY IS NOT WHY WE DID CITY SQUARE.
UM, IT'S NOT, IT IS A LARGER CAMPUS FOR SURE.
IT'S ABOUT FOUR OR FIVE, UM, FOUR, FOUR, UM, ACRES.
BUT THE BUILDING IS NOT THAT MUCH BIGGER FOR OUR SPACE BECAUSE WE HAVE TWO TENANTS.
ONE BEING WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS IS STILL THERE, AND WE WANT THEM THERE.
UM, AND THEN ANOTHER, UH, UH, FOR-PROFIT MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDER.
SO, UM, IT WASN'T QUITE DOUBLE THE SPACE AND IT'S JUST A MUCH DIFFERENT CONFIGURATION.
UM, BUT WE WERE ALREADY THINKING ABOUT WHAT WE WERE GONNA DO, AND WE'VE BEEN PRAYER PRAYERFUL ABOUT, UH, EITHER GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE, UM, AND BUILDING OR, YOU KNOW, IN ANOTHER, UH, FACILITY OR BUILDING NEXT TO THE STUPOT.
UM, WHEN CITY SQUARE CONTACTED US, THIS IS PAGE EIGHT, UM, IN MAY, ALONG WITH MANY OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, AND SAID THAT THEY WERE HOPING TO, UM, DO A HANDOFF TO AN ORGANIZATION AND SELL THE CAMPUS.
UM, MANY ORGANIZATIONS APPLIED.
UH, THERE WAS A PROPOSAL PRO PROCESS.
WE DID THAT, UM, UH, PROPOSAL PROCESS.
AND THE REASON WE WERE INTERESTED AGAIN, WAS THE MISSION ALIGNMENT BECAUSE, UH, POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS IS WHAT CITY SQUARE'S MISSION HAD BEEN.
WE WERE 50 YEARS OLD, THEY WERE 30.
UM, AND SO THERE WAS AN ALIGNMENT OF THE MISSION.
WE WERE VERY FAMILIAR WITH THEIR PROGRAMS. THE POPULATION WAS SIMILAR.
UM, OUR LEADERSHIP FELT WE HAD THE FINANCIAL STABILITY TO MAKE THIS KIND OF A MOVE.
UM, IT'S ONLY, UM, 1.2 MILES FROM OUR CURRENT LOCATION.
THAT WAS A BIG CONCERN FOR OUR CHURCH BECAUSE WE HAVE SERVED DOWNTOWN, YOU KNOW, OF NEIGHBORS FOR A LONG TIME.
AND THEY WERE WORRIED ABOUT WHETHER OUR NEIGHBORS, UH, DOWNTOWN AREA COULD GET TO US OVER AT CITY SQUARE.
I'M THANKFUL THAT THE CONNECTOR WAS SOMETHING THAT WE HELPED ESTABLISH WITH, UM, CITY SQUARE AND

AUSTIN STREET, AND THEN INCLUDED SOME OTHER ORGANIZATIONS SO THAT THE PLAN IS THAT FOLKS WILL STILL BE ABLE TO GET OVER TO US, UH, AT THE NEW LOCATION.WE ALSO, UH, FEEL LIKE WE HAD A, A STRONG IMPACT, UM, AND COULD CONTINUE TO SERVE EVEN MORE, UM, NEIGHBORS.
SO OUR PHILOSOPHY AND ALIGNMENT, UM, IN THE NEXT PAGES, I THINK MOST OF YOU HAVE SEEN C SQUARE, BUT IF YOU HAVEN'T, THESE ARE SOME, UM, PHOTOS OF CITY SQUARE, THE OUTSIDE, UM, THE FIRST TWO PAGES, THE FACILITY IS ONLY 10 YEARS OLD, SO IT'S A, IT'S A BEAUTIFUL FACILITY.

AND THEN RECENTLY WITH THE BUILDING OF A PARKING OR A PLAYGROUND FOR THE CHILDREN, UM, THEN WE ARE, WE STARTED DOING STREETSIDE SHOWERS NEXT TO THE BUILDING.
AND IN ENCORE PARK, THE, UM, PRICE OF CITY SQUARE, UH, 7 MILLION WAS THE ACQUISITION COST.
UM, AND SO WE FIGURED OUT, YOU KNOW, WHAT, WHAT OTHER COSTS WE WOULD HAVE ABOUT 7,500 JUST FOR THE ACQUISITION.
WISH IT WAS 7,500, I CAN TELL YOU THAT.
UM, AND THEN THE, YOU KNOW, RELOCATION COSTS, BECAUSE IT WASN'T COMPLETELY APPLES TO APPLES ON THE BUILDING.
UM, WE HAVE ABOUT 2.5 MILLION THAT WE HAVE FIGURED OUT THINGS THAT, UH, THE BUILDING 100 WHERE THEIR, UM, NEIGHBOR RESOURCE CENTER WAS.
WE WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE THAT.
THAT'LL BE WHERE WE ARE MOVING.

WE, WE SERVE OVER A THOUSAND, UM, CLIENTS, UM, THAT RECEIVE THEIR MAIL AT THE STEWPOT.
I CAN TELL YOU THAT'S ACTUALLY ONE OF THE LARGEST, UM, UH, CONCERNS ABOUT, UH, HOW WE ARE GOING TO, UH, FORWARD THE MAIL TO THAT LOCATION BECAUSE, UH, OUR MAIL IS TIED TO THE CHURCH.
AND SO JUST FORWARDING, THEN, THAT WOULD, ANYWAY, IT'S, IT'S A HEADACHE TO EVEN THINK ABOUT.
UH, BUILDING 200 IS WHERE WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS IS.
AND, AND BASICALLY THE AD ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AND VOLUNTEER SERVICES.
UM, SO THERE'S MINIMAL, UM, UH, UPFIT NEEDING FOR THAT.

UH, BUILDING 400, UH, THE FOOD PANTRY, IF YOU'VE EVER BEEN THERE, THAT IF WE WANTED NOTHING ELSE TO DO WITH THE CAMPUS, IT WAS THE FOOD PANTRY.
IT'S, IT'S, UM, PERFECTLY SUITED FOR WHAT WE'VE BEEN DOING AND, AND ACTUALLY MORE, AND IT IS A CLIENT CHOICE EXPERIENCE WHERE OUR FOOD DISTRIBUTION WAS A BOX OF FOOD.
WE WERE CERTAINLY SERVING A LOT OF PEOPLE, BUT IT WAS, HERE'S YOUR BOX OF FOOD FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS, AND YOU CAN COME BACK IN IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS.
THIS FOOD PANTRY, UM, IS CLIENT CHOICE.
AND, UM, WE'VE ALREADY BEEN SERVING OVER 300, UM, FOLKS A A DAY, UM, FOUR DAYS A WEEK WITH, UM, SINCE TAKING OVER.
SO, UH, AGAIN, UM, PAGE 14 IS, UM, ABOUT THE NEIGHBOR RESOURCE CENTER AND THE FOOD PANTRY.
UM, SO WE DID NOT JUST, UM, PURCHASE THE, THE, THE CAMPUS, BUT WE ALSO ARE CONTINUING THOSE TWO PROGRAMS. AND WE HIRED, UM, STAFF THAT WERE CITY SQUARE STAFF.
SO WE, WE HIRED, UH, FOUR STAFF FROM THE NEIGHBOR RESOURCE CENTER.
SO THEY'RE CASE MANAGERS THAT ARE, UM, FAMILIAR AND VERY WITH THE, NOT ONLY THE NEIGHBORS OF CITY SQUARE, UM, BUT ALSO THE PROGRAM AND RESOURCES.
AND SO THOSE, THOSE FOLKS ARE ON OUR STAFF.

THAT'S ABOUT, UM, A A MILLION AND A HALF OF ADDITIONAL COSTS TO OUR OPERATING BUDGET.

SO, UM, SO WE ARE CONTINUING TO CATCH UP WITH, UH, THE, THE STABILITY FOR THE ORGANIZATION.
ONE OF THE THINGS THAT, UM, WAS, UH, LAID OUT IN THE, UM, ACQUISITION WAS THE, UM, COST AND THE RETIREMENT OF THE DEBT THAT CITY SQUARE HAD WASN'T GONNA EQUAL $7 MILLION.
SO 1.3 MILLION, UM, CAME BACK TO US FOR PROGRAM COSTS.
SO THAT'LL HELP US IN THE FIRST YEAR OR SO FOR TAKING ON THOSE TWO PROGRAMS. UM, BUT AS YOU KNOW, THINGS ALWAYS
I'LL SHOW YOU THAT IN JUST A MOMENT AS WELL.
SO WE WERE ALREADY ASSISTING OVER 14,000 CLIENTS, AND WITH THE ADDITIONAL, UM, 12,000 FOR THE PANTRY AND ABOUT 2000 WITH THE NEIGHBOR RESOURCE CENTER, WE WILL BE IN INCREASING, UM, DRAMATICALLY THE NUMBER OF FOLKS WE ARE SERVING.
AGAIN, THESE ARE FOLKS THAT ARE HOUSED AS WELL AS THOSE EXPERIENCING, UM, HOMELESSNESS.
UM, SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT THE IMPACT OVER THE, UM, 2023 YEAR.
WE HAVEN'T DONE OUR 2024 NUMBERS YET.
UM, ST STUPOT FUNDRAISING, JUST SHOWING YOU, THIS WAS ONE OF THE SLIDES IN SOME OF THE DATA THAT WE SHARED WITH CITY SQUARE.
IT WAS A UNANIMOUS, UM, DECISION BY THE, THE CITY SQUARE BOARD TO, UM, AWARD US WITH THE, UM, OPPORTUNITY TO, UH, PURCHASE THE CAMPUS.
UM, YOU KNOW, US SHOWING OUR, UH, INCREASED, UH, REVENUE AND THAT WE, UM, ON PAGE 17 THAT WE CONTINUE TO GROW AND, AND BUILD ON THE WORK THAT WE'VE DONE IN, UM, OUR FUNDRAISING.
UM, WE, YOU KNOW, ADDED A MAJOR GIFTS OFFICER AND OTHER, UM, IMPORTANT POSITIONS TO CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN OUR, UM, OUR DONORS.
UH, AS I SAID, ON PAGE 18, OUR 2024 AND 25 BUDGET, IT'S GONE UP TO 12.5 MILLION.
UM, AND WE'RE, UM, ALSO GOING TO BE WORKING ON INCREASING OUR OPERATIONAL RESERVES.
UM, SO, UH, IT'S, IT'S A BIG FUNDRAISING YEAR.
UM, WE BELIEVE THAT GOD BROUGHT US TO THIS OPPORTUNITY.
UM, YOU KNOW, WE WE'RE REALLY THANKFUL THAT WE COULD STEP IN AND CONTINUE THE OPERATIONS FOR THOSE TWO VERY IMPORTANT PROGRAMS. FORD TOOK THOSE, UM, THOSE PROGRAMS AND THEN DID RFP TO, TO MEET THOSE OUT TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS.
UM, SO IT IS A BIG FUNDRAISING YEAR FOR US.
WE NEED SUPPORT FROM THE CITY, FROM THE COUNTY, FROM OUR, YOU KNOW, FUNDING COMMUNITY.
WE WERE ABLE TO CLOSE ON THE PROPERTY.
UM, IT WAS A CREATIVE, UH, UM, FINANCING BECAUSE, UH, AS YOU KNOW, SINCE WE DIDN'T FIND OUT UNTIL JULY THAT WE WERE GONNA BE THE ONES THAT WERE GONNA, UM, BE ABLE TO ACQUIRE THE PROPERTY, WE DIDN'T HAVE JUST 7 MILLION LAYING AROUND.
UM, WE HAD STARTED TRYING TO FUNDRAISE FOR IT, BUT IT WAS A BASICALLY FOUR MONTH, FIVE MONTH, UM, CAPITAL CAMPAIGN.
SO, UH, WE USED, UH, THE CASH THAT WE HAD ALREADY RAISED, AND THEN, UM, UH, WE FINANCED THE REST.
SO WE DO, IT IS FINANCED, UM, UNDER INWOOD BANK, WHICH IS WHERE WE, WHERE WE BANK.
UM, AND, UH, FPC, OUR FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH ALSO HELPED US WITH SOME OF THE, YOU KNOW, FUNDING.
UM, SO HERE ARE THE HIGH LEVEL UPDATES.
UM, PRIOR TO THE CLOSING, WE HAD MET CONTINUOUSLY, REALLY WITH CITY SQUARE TO ALIGN OUR PROGRAMS AND PREPARE FOR THE ACQUISITION.
WE HAVE A FUNDRAISING PLAN THAT WE DEVELOPED WITH BRAD, CECIL AND ASSOCIATES.
AND WE'VE BEEN, I'VE BEEN FUNDRAISING.
THAT'S BASICALLY WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING.
UM, WE DID ALL OUR DUE DILIGENCE INSPECTIONS AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENTS.
WE, UH, PURCHASED THE PROPERTY ON DECEMBER 16TH.

SO, BUT IF WE CONTINUED SERVING, UM, WE DID GET ALL THE PERMITS FOR THE FACILITY.
WE HIRED THEIR 13, UM, FORMERLY CITY SQUARE EMPLOYEES, AND ALSO KEPT THREE AMERICORPS FOLKS.
UM, WE BEGAN OPERATING THE PANTRY, UM,

SO WE ARE RUNNING SECURITY AT BOTH CAMPUSES, WHICH INCREASES OUR COSTS.
UM, THE, WHAT WE HAVE, WE'RE STILL WORKING ON, BUT UH, WE HAVE ALREADY STARTED MOVING IN.
UM, WE'VE BEEN PLANNING THE OFFICE SPACE AND UTILIZATION OF, FOR THE PROGRAMS. WE'RE GETTING RFPS FOR FUTURE POTENTIAL CONSTRUCTION COSTS.
WE'RE TRYING TO KEEP OUR COSTS TILL A MINIMUM.
UM, AND OUR PROJECT TIMELINE, TRYING TO GET, AGAIN, EVERY, EVERYTHING MOVED OVER.

UM, WE HAVE MET WITH ALL THE PARTNERS THAT WERE AT CITY SQUARE AND OUR PARTNERS AND CONTINUING TO DEVELOPED MOUS.
UM, WE STARTED, NOT REALLY UNTIL DECEMBER STARTED, UM, MEETING WITH SOUTH DALLAS ORGANIZATIONS.
WE TALKED WITH ORGANIZATIONS, JUST TRYING TO NETWORK.
UM, WE DIDN'T DO A TON OF THAT BECAUSE WE REALLY NEED TO KIND OF GET OUR FEET UNDER US, BUT THAT'S PART OF OUR, WE HAVE A COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PLAN.
WE'VE DONE SOME TRAINING ALREADY WITH THE ALL STAFF.
WE HAVE ANOTHER TRAINING TOMORROW.
