AND WHILE WE ARE PREPARING FOR BIG EVENTS LIKE THE WORLD CUP, WE ALSO HAVE CHALLENGES THAT WE FACE EVERY DAY THAT THESE INVESTMENTS DIRECTLY HELP SUPPORT IN THE CITY.
AND SO IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE JUST THE IMPACT OF BOTH CAPABILITY AND CAPACITY THAT THESE FUNDS HELP US BUILD AS A CITY TO, TO MAINTAIN MANY OF OUR OPERATIONS. SO WITH THAT, BEN WE'LL LEAD YOU THROUGH THE PRESENTATION AND WE'LL BE HAPPY TO TAKE ANY QUESTIONS.

MULTIPLE AWARDS HAVE BEEN PRESENTED OVER THE YEARS, BUT FOR THE DALLAS CITY OF DALLAS AND DFW AREA UAC, WHICH IS THE URBAN AREA SECURITY INITIATIVE AND STATE HOMELAND SECURITY PROGRAM, THOSE ARE THE ONES THAT WE'VE BEEN GETTING ANNUALLY AT WHAT IT'S WHAT MAKES UP THE $150 MILLION THAT WE'VE RECEIVED SINCE 03.

THIS ONE MIGHT BE AN OLDER ONE, BUT IT'S STILL VERY MUCH WORTH MENTIONING.
DPD HQ SECURITY ENHANCEMENTS. THIS OF COURSE WAS IN RESPONSE TO THE 2015 SHOOTING.
UAC WAS JUST ONE PART OF THE LARGER PROJECT, WHICH INCLUDED RIFLE RESISTANT GLASS, SOME ROTATING SECURITY DOORS, ACCESS READERS AND THE X-RAY MACHINES IN THE ADJACENT ENTRANCE BUILDING OR ROOM.
