THE DEVELOPMENT WERE CREATED AND BRING MORE FAMILIES AND CHILDREN. THESE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO ATTEMPT TO CROSS EXPLAIN THEIR TRAFFIC WOULD NOT BE AN IDEAL, UM, SITUATION AT ALL. MY GREATEST AREA OF CONCERN, MOST IMPORTANTLY, IS THE SAFETY AND WELLBEING OF THE COMMUNITY. UH, THE DEVELOPMENT WILL GREATLY INCREASE TRAFFIC LEADING TO MORE ACCIDENTS. IN THE 12 YEARS OF LIVING IN THAT AREA, I HAVE SEEN MORE ACCIDENTS THAT I CAN COUNT, INCLUDING CARS, TRUCKS, MOTORCYCLES, AND SEMI-TRUCKS. ON A DAILY BASIS, I SEE HUNDREDS OF VEHICLES SPEEDING, RACING AND JUST RECKLESS PEOPLE NOT PAYING ATTENTION TO THE ROADS. JUST SIX DAYS AFTER THE CPC MEETING BACK IN 2021, FOR THE SAME REASON MY NEIGHBOR WAS HIT BY A SEMI-TRUCK ON SOUTH COCKER HILL ROAD AND BASS WAY AND LOST HIS LIFE AT THE SCENE. THIS WAS INCREDIBLY DEVASTATING FOR MY NEIGHBORS AND MY COMMUNITY. AND I DO NOT WANT ANY OTHER FAMILY TO HAVE TO FEEL THAT PAIN. ADDING MORE BUILDINGS TO THE AREA CAN CAUSE A STRAIN ON INFRASTRUCTURE AND PUBLIC SERVICES. A HIGHER POPULATION DENSITY WILL PUT PRESSURE ON THE WATER SYSTEM AND ELECTRICAL GRID. ALSO, THE SCHOOL DISTRICT CLASSES ALREADY HAVE 25 TO 30 STUDENTS AND ADDING THIS DEVELOPMENT COULD CAUSE A STRAIN TO OUR SCHOOL SYSTEMS AS WELL AS OUR EMERGENCY SERVICES, WHICH WILL BE STRAINED, UH, WHILE THEY ARE ALREADY RUNNING SHORT STAFF. THIS CAN ALSO CAUSE A PUBLIC CONCERN, A PUBLIC SAFETY CONCERN.
