BUT, UM, WHAT WE WOULD LIKE IS, AND THIS IS THIS REPORT, YOU KNOW, LAST YEAR, THE LAST COUPLE YEARS, WE'VE BEEN BLESSED TO HAVE PETER KLEIN DO MOST OF THE WORK.

AND SOME OF, WE, WE ALL ADDED OUR COMMENTS THIS YEAR.

YOU HAVE A GROUP THAT'S STRUGGLING TO DO ALL THIS WORK.

ON TOP OF THIS IS, YOU KNOW, NOT THE SLOWEST SEASON OF THE YEAR.

WE WOULD LIKE ALL OF THE COMMISSIONERS TO SUBMIT ANYTHING FROM THEIR DISTRICT THAT THEY CONSIDER IMPORTANT TO HAPPEN DURING THE YEAR OR THAT THEY WANTED TO SEE HAPPEN DURING THE YEAR.

THE OTHER IS ANY GOALS YOU HAVE FOR YOUR DISTRICT.

I KNOW I MET WITH MY, UM, MY, ONE OF THE, THE LIBRARIANS.

SHE WANTS MORE PARTICIPATION IN THE LIBRARY THING.

ANYTHING YOU HAVE FOR YOUR DISTRICT THAT IS YOUR GOAL, WE WOULD LIKE TO PUT IN THE REPORT.

BUT THEN THE NEXT THING IS YOUR, SO OUR GOAL FOR 2026.

FOR 2026, RIGHT? AND THE NEXT THING, YOU KNOW, ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 25 OR EVENTS, ANYTHING SIGNIFICANT.

I THINK WE'LL TAKE A LITTLE NEW LOOK AT THE WAY WE PROCEED AS A COMMISSION.

AND I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE ON HERE HAVE SERVED A LONG TIME AND YOU HAVE GOALS AND, AND THINGS YOU'D LIKE TO SEE ACCOMPLISHED BY THE COMMISSION, NOT JUST IN YOUR DISTRICT.

I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH MIKE'S COMMENT THAT THE STRATEGIC PLAN TIMING CAUSED A BIT OF A CHALLENGE FOR ALL OF THESE EFFORTS BECAUSE WE'RE WAITING FOR THAT TO BE FINALIZED SO THAT IT COULD ALL TIE TOGETHER, WHICH MAKES COMPLETE SENSE IS TO HAVE OUR STRATEGIC PLAN THAT HAS JUST BEEN DISTRIBUTED, TIED TO OUR BUDGET RECOMMENDATIONS AND TIED TO OUR 2025 IN 2026 PLANS.

SO WE, BUT WE DO HAVE A, WE DO HAVE A REFERENCE POINT.

WE HAVE SOME REFERENCE POINTS THAT WE, SO WE'RE NOT GOING AT THIS COMPLETELY COLD.

WE EXAMINED A FULL RANGE OF SERVICES AVAILABLE, ESPECIALLY THOSE THAT RELATE TO FREE TO LOW COST SERVICES, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROVIDED BY BOTH THE CITY OF DALLAS AND ALSO OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS.

AND THEN THAT THEN HELPED US TO UNDERSTAND THE OVERALL, UM, SERVICES, THE LANDSCAPE WE HAVE WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY.

WE LOOKED AT THE PROGRAM EFFECTIVENESS AS WELL.

UH, WE DID SPEAK WITH OVER 20 STAFF MEMBERS THAT SUPPORT OLDER ADULT PROGRAMMING.

AND WE REVIEWED HOW WELL THE CITY PROGRAMS ARE ALIGNED WITH THE ACTUAL NEEDS OF THE, OF THE OLDER ADULTS WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY.

WE THEN COMPARED THE SERVICES OFFERED, UM, WITHIN THE LEVEL OF DEMAND TO ALSO DETERMINE HOW WE NEED TO START MOVING FORWARD.

THE NEEDS ASSESSMENT.

WE ALSO LOOKED AT THE AGE-FRIENDLY ACTION PLANS TO HELP US DETERMINE WHAT WE NEED TO DO IN REWRITING THE NEXT ITERATION FOR THE NEXT THREE TO FIVE YEARS BASED ON THE DATA.

UM, THEN ALL OF THIS HELP US TO UNDERSTAND, UH, WHAT WE NEED TO DO, NOT JUST WITH THE AGE FRIENDLY ACTION PLAN, BUT THEN ALSO HOW WE NEED TO COMMUNICATE WITH OUR OLDER ADULTS AND UTILIZE CITY PLATFORMS AND ALSO LOOK BEYOND.

NEXT SLIDE, I'M GONNA DISCUSS JUST A LITTLE BIT REGARDING THE DEMOGRAPHIC PROFILE OF OUR DALLAS OLDER ADULTS.

SO AS WE ARE ALL AWARE, OUR OLDER ADULTS ARE LIVING LONGER AND DALLAS SHOWS A SIGNIFICANT RISE IN POPULATION OF OLDER ADULTS AGE 60 YEARS AND OLDER.

IF WE LOOK AT THE YEARS 2000 TO 2023, THERE WAS AN INCREASE OF NEARLY 62%.

THIS IS THE UPWARD TREND THAT CONTINUES TO RISE IN THE COMING YEARS.

AND ACCORDING TO THE US CENSUS BY 20 20, 20 30, EXCUSE ME, UM, JUST ABOUT 20% OF OUR POPULATION WILL BE OLDER, JUST AGE 60 YEARS AND OLDER.

WITH THAT SAID, WE UNDERSTAND ONCE AGAIN THE NEED IN PREPARING FOR OUR OLDER ADULT COMMUNITY.

NOW LOOKING AT OUR CITY, WE HAVE OVER 219,000 OLDER ADULTS AGE 60 YEARS AND OLDER.

AND WITH THAT SAY, SAID 46,000 LIVE ALONE HIGHLIGHTING POTENTIAL, UM, THE POTENTIAL FOR SOCIAL ISOLATION CONCERNS OVER 32,000

LIVE BELOW THE FEDERAL POVERTY LINE SHOWING SOME ECONOMIC VULNERABILITY AND NEARLY 30,000 LIVE WITH TWO OR MORE DISABILITIES IN TERMS OF OUR RACIAL AND ETHNIC COMPOSITION.

47% WHITE, 27% BLACK AFRICAN AMERICAN, AND 20% BELONG TO THE HISPANIC LATINO POPULATION.

THIS RE REPRESENTS OUR CITY DIVERSITY.

UM, AND ONE OF THE THINGS WE DID IS WE DID A COMPREHENSIVE NEEDS ASSESSMENT THAT, UM, IF YOU TAKE A LOOK AT THESE DIFFERENT BLUE TILES, THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY NINE KEY RESEARCH EFFORTS, BOTH WITH QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE DATA COMPONENTS THAT WE CONDUCTED OVER THE COURSE OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE PLAN.

AND THAT WAS TO MAKE SURE THAT WE HAD THE RIGHT DATA, UM, BOTH QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE IN ORDER TO CREATE THE FINAL PRODUCT.

SO EXAMPLES OF SOME OF THESE, UH, WERE, UM, LISTENING SESSIONS BOTH FOR OLDER ADULTS, UM, AND PROVIDERS, AS WELL AS, UH, CREATING A VERY COMPREHENSIVE DEMOGRAPHIC REPORT AND SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF, OF HEALTH DASHBOARD SPECIFIC TO THE INDIVIDUALS WHO LIVE IN THE CITY OF DALLAS.

SO ON OUR NEXT SLIDE, WE CAN TALK A LITTLE BIT MORE IN DETAIL ABOUT THESE.

UM, SO, UM, WE HELD GROUP INTERVIEWS AND TALKED TO OVER 20 EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF DALLAS.

UM, WE DID A SURVEY, UM, OF, AND, UH, AN INDEX, UH, OF 36 SERVICES, UM, 36 ORGANIZATIONS OFFERING 92 SERVICES.

WE RECEIVED OVER 470 PAPER AND DIGITAL SURVEYS FROM INDIVIDUALS WHO, UH, WERE INTERESTED IN PROVIDING INFORMATION TO THE CITY OF DALLAS.

WE ALSO DID CITYWIDE VIRTUAL AND IN-PERSON LISTENING SESSIONS.

UM, THEN WE ANALYZED, UM, AND REVIEWED THE KEY THEMES AND THOSE WERE USED TO DRIVE THE DECISION MAKING PROCESS ON WHICH TYPE OF, UH, DOMAINS AND ACTION ITEMS WOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE PLAN.

ON THE NEXT SLIDE, YOU CAN SEE AN EXAMPLE OF THE PROVIDER ORGANIZATIONS BY SERVICE TYPE.

THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE OF THE TYPE OF DATA THAT WE COLLECTED.

AND THIS IS THE TYPE OF SERVICE THAT IS PROVIDED, UM, BY, UH, EXCUSE ME, THIS IS THE NUMBER OF ORGANIZATIONS THAT PROVIDE A SPECIFIC TYPE OF SERVICE.

SO YOU CAN SEE WHERE THERE IS ROOM FOR GROWTH, UM, IN CERTAIN SERVICES AS WELL AS AREAS WHERE, UH, INDIVIDUALS AND OLDER ADULTS ARE, ARE, ARE, HAVE OPPORTUNITIES AND OPTIONS WHEN IT COMES TO RECEIVING PARTICULAR SERVICES.

AND WE ASSIGNED VALUES TO, TO A, A LARGE VOLUME OF SOCIAL DETERMINANTS OF HEALTH CATEGORIES.

AND WHAT WE DID WAS WE, UM, WE SHOWCASED THE, HOW THE STATE WAS DOING AND HOW THE CITY WAS DOING, COMPARING IT TO A NATIONAL AVERAGE.

AND THAT IS JUST TO SHOWCASE WHERE THE CITY OF DALLAS IS IN RELATION TO THE STATE AS A WHOLE.

BUT ALSO, UM,

THE NATION AS A WHOLE IN, IN HELPING DECISION MAKERS DECIDE WHAT MIGHT BE A PRIORITY, UM, BECAUSE SOMETHING MAY BE A PRIORITY IN A DISTRICT OR IN A ZIP CODE.

UM, BUT IT'S ACTUALLY IN LINE WITH NATIONAL AND STATE AVERAGES.

SO MAYBE THE DECISION IS, UH, TO ADDRESS, UH, AN AREA THAT HAS TO USE RESOURCES TO ADDRESS AN AREA THAT HAS A, A LOWER RATING, UM, COMPARATIVELY.

UH, AND THAT WAS A LOT OF DISCUSSION WAS HAD ON THOSE TYPES OF, UH, ANALYSES WHEN IT CAME TO DECIDING THE DIFFERENT DOMAINS AND ACTION ITEMS. SO THAT'S IT FOR THE HIGH LEVEL RECAP.

SO WE CAN CONCLUDE FOR EXAMPLE, IF FOOD INSECURITY WAS A, A DESIRED, UM, METRIC THAT THE CITY WANTED TO ADDRESS, THIS ALLOWS THE CITY TO LOOK ZIP CODE BY ZIP CODE AND MAKE A DETERMINATION OF THE ZIP CODES THAT ARE DOING, UM, WELL ON THE FOOD INSECURITY METRIC.

MAYBE DON'T NEED RESOURCES ALLOCATED TO THEM, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE DISTRICTS OR ZIP CODES THAT ARE FAR UNDER THE NATIONAL OR STATE AVERAGE.

IT'S EXCELLENT FOR DETERMINING THE BEST USE OF RESOURCES IN A TARGETED WAY RATHER THAN MAKING, UM, A PLAN SORT OF TRY TO ADDRESS THE CITY, UM, AS A WHOLE RIGHT THROUGH BLANKET POLICY.

IT ALLOWS US TO BECOME VERY TACTICAL IN THE DELIVERY OF RESOURCES TO BOLSTER CERTAIN SERVICES.

UM, SO IF WE DECIDE AS A COMMISSION THAT WE WANT TO MAKE THAT A PRIORITY, THIS IS, THIS IS NOBODY BUT ME TALKING.

NOW, IF WE DECIDE THAT WE WANNA MAKE FOOD INSECURITY FOR SENIORS A PRIORITY FOR COMMISSION, CAN WE DO THAT? AND WHERE WOULD THAT GO? SO, OH, I I I'M JUST TRYING FIGURE OUT THE EFFICACY OF WHAT WE'RE DOING BY

IN FACT, WE FOUND IT TO BE SO IMPORTANT THAT WE ACTUALLY TASKED OCHE WITH DEVELOPING A FOOD INSECURITY PLAN.

BASICALLY A, YOU A SECURITY PLAN, A PLAN WITHIN A PLAN, IF YOU WILL, THAT IT INCORPORATES CERTAIN ACTION ITEMS THAT WE'VE LISTED IN HERE.

I KNOW WE DON'T HAVE 'EM ALL LISTED IN THE PRESENTATION, BUT IT IS VERY COMPREHENSIVE AND IT'S VERY ROBUST ANTICIPATED THAT YOU WOULD ASK THAT PUNCH SHEET.

ALRIGHT, SO THEN WE WOULD, EXCUSE ME PHIL, IF I CAN JUST FINISH MY THOUGHT.

AND, AND I THINK COMMISSIONER CARTEL SOMETHING THOUGH, 'CAUSE AS YOU ALL READ IN THE ACTUAL REPORT ITSELF, WHEN WE ASKED THAT QUESTION, UH, THROUGH THE SURVEYS AND THROUGH ONE-ON-ONE INTERVIEWS, HAVE YOU HAD TO CHOOSE BETWEEN BUYING DRUGS OR BUYING PRESCRIPTION DRUGS, PAYING YOUR UTILITIES OR FOOD? HAVE YOU HAD TO MAKE THAT CHOICE? I THINK IT WAS 27% RESPONDENT IN THE AFFIRMATIVE.

THAT'S TOO MUCH.

IT'S WAY TOO, I DON'T WANNA JUMP AHEAD, BUT I THINK HE SAID SOMETHING IMPORTANT.

WE WANTED TO GIVE OCA AND Y'ALL SOME LEEWAY BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT, YOU KNOW, IF THE PUBLIC, UM, HEALTH EMERGENCY TAUGHT US THINGS CHANGE OVERNIGHT, RESOURCES CHANGE OVERNIGHT, POLITICS CHANGE OVERNIGHT, HUMAN RESOURCES CHANGE OVERNIGHT.

SO WE WANTED TO GIVE YOU ALL THAT ADEQUATE FLEXIBILITY WHEN WE, ONE THING I ALSO WANTED TO POINT OUT, WHEN WE DEVELOPED THESE, WE LOOKED AT OTHER CITIES, UH, WHO HAD DEVELOPED SIMILAR STRATEGIC PLANS THAT WERE OF SIMILAR SIZE, UH, AND DEMOGRAPHICS OF DALLAS.

TO BE QUITE HONEST WITH YOU, THERE WEREN'T A LOT OF THEM.

AS I STATED TO YOU ALL LAST TIME WHILE I WAS HERE, YOU ALL ARE ONE OF THE FOREFRONT, YOU'RE IN THE FOREFRONT OF DOING THIS, DEVELOPING THE, UH, STRATEGIC PLAN FOR YOUR SENIORS WITHIN THE CITY AND YOU SHOULD BE APPLAUDED FOR THAT.

BUT WE DID LOOK AT OTHER STATES AND OTHER CITIES WHO HAVE DONE THIS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BOSTON, MIAMI, UH, SAN MATEO AND IRVINE, CALIFORNIA.

WE LOOKED AT SOME OF THEIR STRATEGIES, LOOKED AT SOME OF THEIR GOALS, AND I WANT TO ASSURE YOU ALL WORKING WITH NER SHOP, WE DIDN'T JUST PICK UP THOSE GOALS OF STRATEGIES TO POP HERE.

WE REALLY TRIED TO MAKE THE, UH, RESPONSIVE TO WHAT WE HEARD YOU ALL QUANTITATIVE SOURCES, QUALITATIVE SOURCE AND MAKE THEM DALLAS SPECIFIC AS STAFF TO SODA.

SO WE FELT LIKE WE WOULD BE REMISS IF WE DIDN'T FIRST START OUT WITH WHO THE CITY.

WE'RE GONNA TALK A LITTLE BIT MORE ABOUT WHY GOAL TWO TALKS ABOUT THE STRONG COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES SERVICES TO SENIORS IN IN THE DEPTH CITY OF DALLAS, UH, METROPOLITAN AREA.

YOU HAVE A GREAT ROBUST, UH, CBO INFRASTRUCTURE.

THIS TALKS ABOUT HOW YOU'RE GONNA STRENGTHEN THAT AND EXPAND THAT.

UH, GOAL THREE, ONE OF THE THINGS WE HEARD FROM YOU ALL AND EVERYWHERE WE WENT IS VOLUNTEERISM.

VOLUNTEERISM.

UH, IT'S SOMETHING THAT WAS VERY PREVALENT, SO WE FELT LIKE IT NEEDED ITS OWN GOAL.

IT'S BIFURCATED IN THE FACT THAT IT ACTUALLY TRIES TO ACHIEVE TWO PROMPTS.

ONE, WE TRY TO CREATE, UH, OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONS TO VOLUNTEER MORE WITH OLDER ADULTS.

HAVE THAT INTERGENERATIONAL COMMUNICATION THAT WE FEEL IS LACKING AS WELL AS TO CREATE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR OLDER ADULTS THEMSELVES.

GO FOUR IS TO CREATE A STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT PLAN OUTSIDE OF YOUR CBOS, OUTSIDE OF THE CITY OF DALLAS EDUCATIONAL, UH, HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS, EDUCATIONAL, UH, FACILIT BUSINESSES.

WE WANTED TO BRING THEM IN THE FOLD AS WELL AS THEY START THINKING ABOUT HOW THEY'RE GOING TO CREATE BENEFITS AND SERVICES AND, AND, AND START BRINGING AGE FRIENDLY PRINCIPLES INTO THE THINGS THAT THEY WANT TO DO TO HAVE THE, ONE OF THE THINGS THAT HAPPEN WITH THE, TO US WHEN SHE DEVELOP, WHEN WE WERE TASKED WITH DEVELOPING THE SENIOR SERVICES STRATEGIC PLAN IS SERVICES IS THE KEY.

THE SERVICES SHOULD BE READ BROADLY, NOT JUST IN TERMS OF ACTUALLY ONE-ON-ONE SERVICES, BUT THINGS THAT ARE ACTUALLY HELP BENEFIT PEOPLE, BENEFITS, SERVICES, PROGRAM, THINGS LIKE THAT.

SO THIS, UH, HELPS BROADEN THAT AND FIVE, ESTABLISHED AND SUPPORT HAVING TO THE, UH, CIVIC, UH, ENGAGEMENT EFFORTS.

ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WE'VE LEARNED FROM DOING THIS FOR SEVERAL YEARS IS IT'S GREAT TO HAVE A SNAPSHOT OF TIME AND TALK ABOUT HOW WE'RE GONNA EXPAND WHAT WE ALREADY HAVE.

BUT WE KNOW TECHNOLOGY'S CHANGED, DEMOGRAPHICS ARE CHANGING.

LET'S START BEING FORWARD THINKING.

SO THIS ACTUALLY, UM, THIS ACTUALLY TRIES TO CREATE MECHANISMS SO THAT WHEN PROGRAMS OR SERVICES OR BENEFITS ARE DEVELOPED, THE SENIORS HAVE A VOICE AT THE FRONT END SO THAT IF SOMEONE IS SETTING ASIDE HOUSING, UH, THAT SENIORS ARE CONSIDERED WHEN THAT HOUSING DEVELOPMENT IS BUILT, SO THAT THE FOUR FIRST FOUR UNITS ON THE BOTTOM, ON THE BOTTOM ARE ACTUALLY SOME SIDE FOR SENIORS.

SO THIS ACTUALLY TRIES TO GET THEM THE BOTTOM PER RESPECTIVELY.

SO THAT MOVING FORWARD AS THE CITY OF DALLAS DEMOGRAPHICS, UH, GROW, ESPECIALLY IN TERMS OF VERSUS AGE 60 AND OH, THEN WE HAVE THE INFRASTRUCTURE TO MEET THAT.

WHAT WE HEARD FROM SEEN OLDER ADULTS, THE MOST PREVALENT THING WE'VE HEARD OVER AND OVER, YOU'RE GONNA SEE THIS ECHO THROUGHOUT, IS I DON'T KNOW WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE AND IF I DO KNOW WHAT SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE, HOW DO I ACCESS THEM? SO YOU'RE GONNA SEE THIS BOOKEND GOAL ONE IS BASICALLY INFORMATION AND GOAL SIX IS HOW WE COMMUNICATE THAT INFORMATION.

SO WHAT THAT DOES IS THAT ENSURES THAT ONCE THIS PLAN GETS OUT THERE ON THE STREETS AND TAB AND HER TEAM START IMPLEMENTING THIS, WE ACTUALLY HAVE A REAL TIME IMPLEMENTATION PLAN THAT TRACKS, UH, WHAT IS OUR PROGRESS? IS THIS WORKING? DO WE HAVE THE RESOURCES TO DO THIS? DOES THE DATA TELL US THAT WE NEED TO SHIFT GEARS HERE? WOW.

AND SO THAT OF COURSE IS A HUGE, UH, IMPACT TO SENIOR POPULATION.

AND SO INCORPORATING SOME OF THOSE FACTS AND SOME OF THOSE PROJECTIONS TO GAIN THE SUPPORT THAT WE'LL NEED TO DO ALL OF THIS BECAUSE THERE IS A TON IN HERE AND WITHOUT A LOT OF RESOURCE AND FUNDING, I'M NOT SURE THAT IT'LL HAPPEN.

SO WE NEED TO MAKE SURE THAT WE HAVE THE SUPPORT TO DO THAT.

UM, IN THE BOOK THAT THEY WERE REFERRING TO THE SENIORS BLUE BOOK, IT LISTS THE TEXAS EDUCATION CODE, WHICH ALLOWS A SENIOR TO TAKE SIX HOURS FREE OF TUITION COSTS AT ANY STATE SUPPORTED SCHOOL.

AND, UM, LATELY, UH, OUR JUNIOR COLLEGES HAVE BECOME COMMUNITY COLLEGES.

RIGHT.

AND THAT'S WHAT SHE WAS JUST SAYING ABOUT THE ONE IN HER AREA.

MOUNTAIN VIEW HAS THE TECHNOLOGY CLASSES.

BUT THERE'S THOSE YOU PAY FOR THOUGH, RIGHT? NO, THEY'RE FREE.

THEY'RE, THEY'RE SENIORS FOR THE SENIORS.

BUT I DIDN'T KNOW IF TECHNOLOGY WAS INCLUDED, BUT I KNOW THE TEXAS EDUCATION CODE ALLOWS US TO HAVE THOSE PROGRAMS, SENIOR SOURCES OFFERING ALL KINDS OF, UM, TECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATION CLASSES.

THEY DO FINANCIAL LITERACY, THEY ALSO DO COMPUTER TRAINING, UH, PHONE TRAINING, WHATEVER.

BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF AGENCIES AND PROGRAMS IN OUR AREA THAT NEED TO BE INCLUDED, NEED TO BE DONE.

SO I WAS JUST TRYING TO, IN RELATION TO WHAT, UH, ROB WAS SAYING, THE DATA CO THAT WE'VE HAD COLLECTED IN THE PREVIOUS COUPLE YEARS WITH THIS COMMISSION IS OUTSTANDING.

AND IF YOU WILL, MA, I, I DON'T KNOW IF YOU'VE SEEN IT, I WOULD'VE THOUGHT YOU'VE SEEN IT.

I MEAN ONE OF THE MOST SIGNIFICANT THINGS IN THAT DATA IS THAT UM, THE SENIORS ARE THE ONLY GROUP OF POVERTY THAT'S INCREASING IN THE CITY OF DALLAS.

AND I THINK THAT'S A VERY POWERFUL PART RELATES TO A LOT OF WHAT YOU WERE SAYING AS FAR AS CONCERNS.

BUT IF YOU DON'T HAVE THAT, I KNOW, UH, MS. TAYLOR CAN PROVIDE IT.

'CAUSE WE HAD SOME INCREDIBLE DATA COLLECTION THE LAST COUPLE YEARS FOR THIS COMMISSION.

HAVE A ANYTHING.

UM, SO JUST TO WRAP US UP, I JUST WANT TO UM, TO SHARE MY APPRECIATIONS ONCE AGAIN TO THE COMMISSION, UM, TO CITY OF DALLAS LEADERSHIP, UM, WHO ARE ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR THE STRATEGIC PLAN, BUT THEN ALSO TO OUR, MY STAFF AS WELL.

UM, WHEN SURVEY NUMBERS WERE EXTREMELY LOW, UM, THEY DIVIDED AND CONQUERED, UM, TO GET, ENSURE THAT WE HAVE INDIVIDUALS SPEAKING SPANISH.

UM, WE HAD SOME, UH, REPRESENTATION THERE AND SO THEY WENT OUT AND DEPLOYED OUT ALONG WITH OUR PARKS AND REC TEAM.

THEY ALSO DEPLOYED OUT TO MAKE SURE THAT WE DID REACH CLOSE TO THAT 500 MARKS.

I JUST WANT TO SHOW MY APPRECIATION TO THEM OR SHARE IT RATHER.

AND THEN IN ADDITION TO THAT, SO OUR GUIDE HOUSE TEAM, UM, THAT REALLY DID, UM, GO ABOVE AND BEYOND IN MANY DIFFERENT AREAS AND THEY DEALT WITH ME FOR ALMOST A YEAR WITH, UM, ASKING THEM TO REVISE THINGS AND MAKE ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS JUST SO, JUST TO ENSURE THAT WE HAD A MORE HOLISTIC REPORT.
