NEXT SLIDE PLEASE. THE NIBRS CRIMES AS THEY'RE REFERRED TO SO THAT WE CAN TRACK THEM. MURDER IS DOWN 18.8%. TOTAL ROBBERIES ARE DOWN 28.49%. TOTAL AGGRAVATED ASSAULTS ARE DOWN 5.95%. NEXT SLIDE. FOR THESE VIOLENT CRIMES, THE NUMBER OF VICTIMS FOR JANUARY ARE TWO FEWER VICTIMS, FOR MURDER. WE HAVE 49 FEWER VICTIMS FOR ROBBERIES. AND WE HAD 22 FEWER VICTIMS FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULTS. WE DID HAVE AN INCREASE OF FOUR VICTIMS FOR FAMILY VIOLENCE, AGGRAVATED ASSAULTS. BUT THESE ARE ASSAULTS THAT OCCUR BECAUSE TWO PEOPLE KNOW EACH OTHER. WE ALSO HAVE BEEN WORKING ON A PLAN FOR THAT WHICH HAS INCLUDED THE NPO'S GOING INTO CHANNEL 6, WHERE WE IDENTIFIED A LOT OF THOSE FAMILY VIOLENCE OCCURRING AND HAVING THE NPO'S TO GO OUT AND TALK WITH FOLKS. SO WE ARE ADDRESSING IT. THE NEXT SLIDE, PLEASE. SO THE INCIDENT TREND LINE SIMPLY SHOWS THAT WE HAVE LESS VICTIMS OR LESS INCIDENTS OF VIOLENT CRIME THAN WE DID LAST JANUARY. LAST JANUARY, WE HAD 476 INCIDENTS OF VIOLENT CRIME. THIS JANUARY, 409. NEXT SLIDE. AND THIS JUST SHOWS THAT WE HAVE LESS VICTIMS OF THOSE SAME VIOLENT CRIMES. JANUARY 2025, WE HAD 553 VICTIMS AND THIS YEAR WE HAVE 480 VICTIMS. NEXT SLIDE. AND SO FOCUSED DETERRENCE IS IN THE SIXTH SESSION. CURRENTLY WE HAVE 80 ACTIVE CLIENTS IN FOCUS DETERRENTS. WE'VE SEEN DECREASES IN AGGRAVATED ASSAULTS THAT ARE NOT FAMILY VIOLENCE AND MURDERS AND SO MUCH OF OUR VIOLENT CRIME HAS COME DOWN AND IT'S BEEN SUCH A BLESSING TO OUR DISTRICT. AND I KNOW THE FAMILY VIOLENCE ONE IS REALLY HARD. AND MAYBE WE GET WITH THE NPO'S FROM NORTHEAST AND SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO. BUT ANYWAY, IT'S JUST A CONCERN. I JUST KEEP SEEING IT OUT THERE, AND I JUST THOUGHT IT WAS WORTH NOTING THAT IT IS I THINK A CHALLENGE. IN MAY OF 2022, A PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION PREVENTED THE CITY FROM ENFORCING THE ORDINANCE. DPD RESUMED ENFORCEMENT IN NOVEMBER OF 2023 AFTER LITIGATION CONCLUDED, AND THE APPELLATE RULING UPHELD THE CITY'S AUTHORITY TO ENFORCE THE ORDINANCE. NEXT SLIDE. SPECIAL INVESTIGATION DIVISIONS.
